Yesterday, I ran my sixth marathon! It was another incredible experience. This one was extremely special to me because my wife ran it as well! This was her first marathon! I am so proud of her. We have spent the last 20 weeks training together for this moment. We trained in rain, snow, and freezing temperatures. It was insane. However, as with most marathons, when you cross the finish line, looking back, it was all worth it.

P90X3 Review

Six years ago, I started doing P90X and got into the best shape of my life. Ever since then, I have been absolutely hooked on Beachbody programs. I have done P90x, P90X2, Insanity, Body Beast, and now P90X3. I absolutely love it! When I saw that P90X3 was coming out, I was so fired up. The one thing I was concerned about was the 30 minute workouts! The other Beachbody programs I did were all 40-65 minute workouts. I was use to going hard for an hour and getting great results. Could I really get into great shape in 30 minutes? In researching the program, I found that Tony Horton had the same question. He did not want to do a 30-minute workout program. He wanted people to workout for 45-60 minutes per workout. Well, Beachbody did the research and science proves that the you can maximize the benefits you receive from working out in 30 minutes. Anything beyond that is extra and is great, but all you really need is 30 minutes. P90X3 was born.

Laura and I are running the full Pittsburgh Marathon (26.2 miles) in May for Light of Life Rescue Mission. It will be Laura’s first marathon! I am so excited for her! I ran it last year and was able to raise $2,534. Thank you to everyone who donated last year!

Body Beast Review

I recently finished my first run through of one of Beachbody’s newer programs: Body Beast. It was AWESOME! Beachbody always delivers. I know it’s not for everyone, but it’s definitely for me! I love their workouts because:

  • I can do them at home
  • They don’t require a lot of equipment
  • They do all the thinking for you! You don’t need to develop a workout routine, they have world-class trainers who do it for you!
  • They come with a meal plan! I have learned so much about nutrition through these guides. They are priceless!
  • All you have to do is push play!
  • Their trainers are awesome! They inspire and challenge you!
  • Their programs are cheap and you can use them long after you’ve paid for them!
  • They produce results! Search YouTube for Beachbody results. You’ll see thousands and thousands of testimonies!
  • You become a part of a community that supports you. I have made a lot of friends through using Beachbody’s products and programs! They inspire me and challenge me to stay in the best shape of my life!

My goal isn’t to sell you on Beachbody or Body Beast, my goal is to help you get into the best shape of your life. After all, the best workout is the one you’ll do! If it’s Beachbody, great!
