So, Why You Should Want to Build a Platform?
1.) Because people with platforms have the capability to Change the World:
The total number of philosophers who are significant in world history is approximately 135-500. A smaller number if we take only the major figures in each world civilization. Even if we add minor figures of all of the networks in all of civilization the total is about 2,700 people. In summary: Between 150-3,000 people, a tiny fraction of roughly the 23 billion people living between 600 BC and 1900 framed the major contours of all world civilizations.” -Jim Collins
There are 7 major areas of influence in our lives today:
1.) Religion
2.) Economics
3.) Government
4.) Family
5. ) Media
6.) Education
7.) Sports
2.) Building a Platform will open doors for unique opportunities for you
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” -Dr. Seuss
3.) Platforms Allow You to Speak Up for People Who Can’t Speak up for themselves
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless and see that they get justice. Proverbs 31:8-9
The Most Important Factor in Building Your Platform: Making sure your character will sustain your platform!
“As many people as you can help, that’s how many people you can hurt.” -Joyce Meyer
Prayer: Develop me as quickly and as solidly as possible!
“If you want a better world, composed of better nations, inhabited by better states, filled with better counties, made up of better cities, compromised of better neighborhoods, illuminated by better churches, populated by better families, then you’ll have to start by becoming a better person.” -Tony Evans

A few Things to Remember Once You Start Building Your Platform
Remember Who is Ultimately Responsible for Your Platform
Rick Warren said, “Be faithful where you are, God is responsible for how big your influence will get.
Mark Batterson said, “The impact God has planned for us doesn’t occur when we’re pursuing impact. It occurs when we’re pursuing God.”
The Most Significant Factor in Building Your Platform: Faithfulness
“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.” Luke 16:10
Remember: All Large Platforms Started Small
10 Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.” -Zachariah 5:10
“This is an inscription on the tomb of an Anglican Bishop in Westminster Abbey:“When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser I discovered the world would not change –So I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country, but it too seemed immovable. As I grew into my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me, but alas, they would have none of it. And now I realize as I lie on my deathbed, if I had only changed myself first, then by example I might have changed my family. From their inspiration and encouragement I would then have been able to better my country, And who knows, I might have even changed the world.”
In the beginning, you’re not as bad as people think, but if you do things right, in the end, you’re not as good as people think. -John Maxwell
When You Get a Platform, Remember Why You are on Stage
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless and see that they get justice. Proverbs 31:8-9
“Somebody somewhere is waiting on you to become what you were destined to be! Keep growing forward! -Chris Hogan!
