Tell us about yourself! What do you do? How did you get to where you are?
You’re the Manager of Diversity Initiatives with the Pittsburgh Pirates – tell us about that!
What’s it like working for the Pittsburgh Pirates?
In high school and college, you always seemed to get involved with activities and leadership, can you talk about why it’s so important to be a part of these things, how they have helped you become who you are today!
You were diagnosed with a rare bone disorder at birth, you’ve had over 40 broken bones and 12 operations, and yet you have not let that slow you down. What is your secret to your passion, motivation, and energy to make a difference?
Can you speak to the people who maybe don’t have a physical disorder, but have a mental disorder . . . they don’t think they are smart enough, bright enough, good looking enough, maybe they struggle with depression or suicidal thought . . .
You talk a lot about the positive influence your parents had on you, what did they do intentionally to make such a difference in your life?
What advice do you have for parents based on what your parents did?
You’ve had a lot of leadership experiences, what were or are some of the best leadership experiences you’ve had? Why?
You speak a lot at different youth events, school events, etc. What specifically do you teach the students?
