When I was 17 years old, I had two mentors come into my life that changed my life forever. Since then, I’ve always been extremely intentional about pursuing mentor relationships. Over the last thirteen years, I’ve had the privilege to spend time with a lot of incredible people.
In 2011, I noticed that a lot of my peers were asking me how I got to spend time with so many great leaders, so I would walk them through the process I use. I kept having that conversation over and over again and quickly recognized that so many young leaders are desperate to get mentored, but aren’t sure how to actually attract and cultivate relationships with leaders. That is why I created this book. It is my step-by-step guide for how to attract and cultivate mentors in your life.
I hope that this book will help you get meetings with people you never dreamed of spending time with before. I pray that those meetings turn into meaningful mentor relationships.
