“Ministry is who you are, where you are.” -Bruce Bickel
In John 5:19 Jesus says, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.”
In other words, Jesus only did and said what He received from God. That’s what ministry is. Ministry is giving to others what God has given to you.
If God has told you to do something, do it! If He has told you to say something, say it. If he’s taught you something valuable, teach it. If He has helped you in your time of need, help others in their time of need.
If you want to make a difference for God, simply give away what He’s already given to you.
If you’ll do that, your ministry will change the world because in reality, it’s not your ministry, it’s His. You’re just the vessel through who He works!
Give what’s been given.
