My Grocery Shopping List

If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that I have lost a lot of weight in the past two years and have fallen in love with fitness and nutrition! You can read some of my fitness and nutrition blog posts on my new fitness blog that I am currently working on (if you’d like to write for that blog, let me know!) :

Today I just wanted to share with you what my shopping list looks like. I hope it will help you make healthier decisions while shopping!

My Shopping List:

Whole Raw almonds – This has become a favorite snack! A handful a day is great!

Unsweetened Almond Milk – About a month ago I made the switch from skim milk to Almond milk. I’ve enjoyed the change! Almond milk is not dairy and it is great for you and has only 32 calories per serving! I love it!

Eggs – A daily staple. I only use the egg whites. An egg-white omelet is usually part of my post workout meal!

90 Calorie FiberOne Bar – this is probably my favorite thing to eat throughout my day! It’s an awesome snack!

Salsa – This makes everything taste better without the calories. I use salsa on everything I can! Eggs, veggies, salads, you name it! It’s a great replacement for dressings, ketchup, etc.

Spinach – Don’t ask why, but I put spinach in my omelets! It’s a great addition!

Veggies – carrots, broccoli, celery, green peppers . . . the works!

Fruit – grapefruit, blueberries, strawberries! Yummy!

Humus – Another great and healthy alternative for dips!

Chicken – Chicken, chicken, chicken! Hmm!

Fiber One Cereal – I love Fiber One and Kashi cereals!

Tuna – This is one that I am not always wild about, but I enjoy getting the protein! It’s worth it!

Fat Free Cottage Cheese – Great source of protein and low-fat! It’s a great snack!

Activia Light Yogurt – I eat one of these a day! Good stuff!

Sodium Free Spicy V8 – Not getting enough veggies? Down some V8! Just make sure you get the sodium free!

Syntha 6 Protein Shakes – This makes up 2 “meals” a day for me! At 200 calories and 22 grams of protein, it’s a great meal replacement!

Natural Caratein Multi-Vitamins – I get my vitamins from a physical therapist that I am friends with! They are all natural! I love them!

Vitamin B – Energy! I need vitamin B to get me through the afternoons! It’s also great for your skin & hair!

Fish Oil – I take Fish Oil daily. The benefits are amazing! If you’re not getting this in, you need to be!

This lists consists of basically everything I’ll eat on a daily basis, unless I go out to eat. I hope this helps add some healthy foods to your list!
