He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. -II Cor. 1:4
Your Victory is Other People’s Victory
Have you ever been set free from an area you were struggling in? Have you ever conquered addiction, a bad relationship, financial struggles, or anything at all?
If you have, think back to that struggle. How did you get through it? I’m willing to bet that someone else had a part of helping you win. That person who helped you probably struggled with the same thing you struggled with, and beat it. Because they beat it, it put them in a position to help you. Because they’ve been through it and got free, it gave you hope that you could get free. Ultimately: You got free because they got free.
Whatever you’re going through – recognize that you winning in that area is going to be vital to other people getting the victory in the same area. People are counting on you to win.
