Reid Carpenter on Making Pittsburgh Famous for God

Last Wednesday, we partnered with the Pittsburgh Kids Foundation to have a night with Reid Carpenter. The purpose of the night was to hear Reid share the vision of making Pittsburgh famous for God and for our generation to get challenged to do something with that vision.

I believe it’s important for us to know the history of what God has done in our city before we embark on doing something great for Him in our generation. I strongly encourage you to take a few minutes and watch this video of Reid sharing the vision and challenging us with practical ways to do something with the vision:

Here is a picture of the group that attended the event:

The way Laura and I are feeling led by God to carry out this vision is to gather, resource, and equip next generation leaders to go after the dreams God is putting in their hearts. If you are interested in what we are doing, here are a few ways you can connect with us:

  • Monthly Leadership Breakfasts Each month, we host a leadership breakfast where we bring in seasoned leaders to share their best leadership content. Our May Leadership Breakfast is with Pittsburgh Promise Executive Director, Saleem Ghubril. Get info and register here.
  • Get on our e-mail list – Sign-up here to join our e-mail list so you can stay up to date with what we’re doing.
  • Leadership Small Group – We have a small group that meets twice a month to grow together. We share our goals with each other, hold each other accountable to those goals, and go through leadership curriculum together. Let me know if you’re interested in joining our small group. You can e-mail me at
  • Leadership Podcast – We post 3 episodes to our leadership podcast every month. One is an interview with a seasoned leader, one is a talk from our leadership breakfast, and one is a leadership lesson by me. Our prayer is that these lessons will add value to your life.

Please let me know if there is anything else we can do to serve you on your journey! Thanks for being a part of our lives!
