There is a Better Way to Live

I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through me.” -John 14:6

Saturday night I went to 19 North and was deeply impacted. A friend shared his testimony of what God had done in his life. It was amazing to hear. I’ll end up posting the video’s/podcast here on the blog. The thing that impacted me the most was this:

He kept saying how grateful he was that someone talked to him about God. He talked about how he had someone just keep telling him, “There is a better way to live than how you’re living now . . .” He went onto say that because someone shared that simple truth, he started going to church and giving God a chance. 5 years later he is a completely different person, living the life he never dreamed possible just 5 years before.

The night ended with him and another person telling us that if it weren’t for people telling them that there is a better way to live, then they would probably be dead right now. They stressed the importance of us telling people that there is a better way to live.

That’s the purpose of this post. Jesus said that He is the way, the truth, and the life. He didn’t say he is a way, a truth, and a life.

If you feel like there is something more to life . . . there is.

If you feel like you’ve been living for no purpose, you don’t have to anymore.

If you’re in bondage to addiction, depression, oppression in your life, you don’t have to be.

If you’ve been wanting to pursue a relationship with God, but don’t know how, you can start today!

I mean this sincerely. The decision to pursue a relationship with God was the single greatest decision I have and ever will make in life. It completely turned my life around. I became a totally different person. I honestly believe that my life didn’t truly begin until I made that decision. I would be doing you a disservice if I didn’t give you an opportunity to do the same.

Please go to my About Me page and read my testimony of what God has done in my life. If you’re interested in pursuing a relationship with God, it starts with simply asking Him into your life:

Pray this out loud:

God, I thank you, for sending you Son, Jesus, to die for me. I believe in my heart that Jesus died on a cross and rose from the dead, for me. Father, I ask you into my heart, and I thank you for coming. I thank you that I’ll never be the same. In Jesus name, Amen.

The Bible says if you draw close to God, He’ll draw close to you. If you prayed that prayer I encourage you to do a few things:

1.) Get in a good church (ask me and I’ll help you find one)

2.) Get a Bible and read it!

3.) Get yourself around some Christian friends that are farther along in their walk with God and have them mentor you and help you along in your journey!

If you have any questions – just ask me! I love you  and I am pumped up about what God wants to do in and through your life!

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I–
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference
